Have you tried changing the Flicker reduction to see what happens? Sounds like Mains frequency is beating with your camera.

I don't see the problem - what you expecting?

I thought the same thing ;-)

Use a flash and take the same picture. Should disappear. Looks like a mix of lighting to me as well.

You've got different temperature light sources. Looks like the further one is tungsten and the nearer one is incandescent or could be natural ambient.

I shot it with my eye on the viewfinder.:D
I noticed that this problem occurs only when it's incandescent light.:-?

Mixed incandescent and some other light source I would imagine. Your camera is trying to balance the two.

I noticed it as soon as the page finished loading. First let me ask (as silly as it may seem), are you shooting this image with your eye or face away from the viewfinder? If so, then excess light could be making its way to the sensor causing the extra brightness on the lower portionn of the image. I would also try shooting photos with all of the various white balances to see if this is an across-the-board incident. I've never experienced a light leak in a SLR or DSLR but perhaps someone who knows what it looks like could give an assessment.
