The Nikkor is really more gray than white, Nikon made a bunch of lenses in this color and charged more money for them.

gentoo - sony's 70-200/2.8 and sony's 300/2.8, or at least I haven't seen them neither on sony.com or bhphotovideo.com

Yes, moreover there's no black version of this lens (neither the 300/2.8) - at least this color is not listed on their webpage.
