I don't know much about profiles and such, but D600 RAW does some weird stuff color wise. I think Im sticking with JPEG for now.

Interesting. What are you seeing? I created profiles using the Color Checker Passport (I don't generally use the Adobe profiles) and i was pretty surprised by how close the "Beta" profile that Adobe provided is to the ones that i created.

Does 4.2 seem buggy for anyone else?

My loupe on my second monitor isn't updating live anymore and I'm seeming to have some nasty memory leaks up to 6 GB (and I only have 8 so it's killing my system).

I also seem to have blurry view on my loupe with a very specific set of images:

JPG or TIFF shot with D600 in portrait orientation. It's weird because the landscape shots are perfectly fine.

I'm just wondering if anything is broken with this "Preliminary" support....

I guess I'll see!

It's probably their way of saying, Nikon didn't give us enough time to truly test this and nail the default profiles, but so far we haven't seen any problems.

Peely, this is how the Adobe updates work. It's another one of the incidental costs of upgrading cameras. As TTJ said, LR4 is better.

@Peely - No, but you can upgrade to LR4 very cheaply.(which you will not regret as it is way better).

Is there anything I can download to allow RAW use of the D600??

You might try Nikon's free ViewNX2 software. It worked for my D800 before LR was updated to do so.
