The combinations so far is outstanding and to be honest I have not fully gone out and shot with this setup up with my 14-24 (or other lenses) on a "full shoot." However, I did take some test shots, in the house, with the 85 1.8G and did not notice any changes in what I saw through the view-finder versus what I captured. In addition, not having my face planted on the camera live-view glass and camera body itself, is welcomed. If I have set this up correctly, I would highly recommend it to you all...it feels nice and not to mention sexy.

Cheers...

I don't have the DK-17M, but I do use the ring that came with the DK-19, it takes some work, but it goes on. You have to get your fingers all over the eye piece to do it though.

How do you find the DK-17M? Does it block your vision of the edges of the viewfinder?

I just got this combination for my D4 and I really like it. Anyone else have this setup? If so, I wanted to know if you ended up using any of the rings that came with each peace. I, for the life of me could not get them on...so I just put the DK-17 inside the DK-19 and screwed it on and it fit like a glove. I was just worried about water getting in; but given the way it is on...I don't think I have to worry about it. So I hope I did it right...if not, please let me know.

Cheers
