Thank you jonny! You are right. There are so many pictures being submitted each day. I have to check it every couple of posts.

Chris- What kind of Polaroid camera /Polaroid film do you use? and how did you scan and treat the Polaroid? I am about to start shooting film more and possibly do some Polaroid stuff as well. I have the Fuji instax 210 with about 140 shots left. I would like to know all the tips to digital scanning. I have read your post but i am more focused on treatment in post processing on the computer and along with loading the negatives.

The problem with not looking at this thread every day is you come back and there's no way to comment on all the beautiful images.

Great perpective, tcole. Nice lines in that self-portrait, smarterchild. I like the compression in that one, regulator. I love the bokeh in that Dustin one, stanschurman. That black gull is beautiful on so many levels, Adam. I just want to stare at it—one of your best ever, IMO.

its hard to find those in Portugal....i had one in Canada,ages ago.....well centuries ago.

Statistical feedback? Out of about 2200 registered forum members there are only about 30 members contributing to this month's photoaday thread. I'd say about 20 of those members are from the same group that contributed to last month as well.

So to pick a winner from such a small group wouldn't be "fair". What happens if the same person keeps winning every month? Like I said we discussed this before and admin said no. He wants the forum to grow a bit more. It also kinda didn't help when he was testing the waters and had a "forum only" giveaway and only about 10 of you signed up for it. We need a lot more members before we can do "dpreview like" photo contest with different categories every month.

Went to a local cemetery and found this WWI/WWII memorial. A little off season, but hey, I was there.

I dunno.. I think some statistical feedback would be welcome. I am sure there will be some pleasant surprises ! Nominations adds some subjective fun too. restrict it to just the mods to nominate and some more active senior members if you need to spread the load a bit..
