This one was taken in the zoo in Kuala Lumpur. I have another one cropped in on the head only, to show all the details on the teeth. But then I liked this framing better.

Oh, for the detectives..the sensor oil spot is present on some of these.... if you care to look. (About 25% of the distance from center to edge at 8:30).

Ok Since it is my 2,000th post - I hope no one minds if a take a small liberty and break the rules and show 1 image for each 1000 posts. Two examples why I love this D800 I got!

D800 - iso 100 - Tokina 300mm f 2.8 w/ Kenko 2x tele. 1/80th @ F8 - Over 100% crop. (LR doesn't tell me that part.

D800 - iso 250 - 70-300VR - handheld 1/250th @ F8

D700 - 85 mm f/1.8 @ f/2.5

A little fun I had while I was shooting through a fence...a bit abstract but what the hell...it all for fun...he he :P
