That particular one came from mom's house (where all the best steaks are made). Its pretty exclusive though... I doubt most of you could get a reservation.

Your next best bet is Austin Land & Cattle (not Texas Land and Cattle, which is a marginal chain restaurant). Strange as it sounds, Austin doesn't have many good steak joints.

I found this on a snowdrift riding home from work earlier this year. The lighting is mainly by a sodium vapor streetlamp (hence the color cast).

BTW, hand held at 1/6s with a non-VR lens at 50mm. Sniper breathing and timed in between heartbeats. ;-)

It fell off by noon, but it did look great and late at night it was neat to see the moisture in air move by the lights

That last shot with the red is really a beautiful photo.

I've got the 60 2.8 AF-D, and I should have put it on to see if I could have gotten anything. I think we have fog again tonight, so maybe tomorrow if we get a repeat performance.

We had fog last night that coated everything in a layer of frost. It looked like snowflakes had grown off of everything. It's a bad time of year to be a leaf or a rose.
