How to add a photo to a post:

You can also link to a photo directly by using the following example (for now only png, gif or jpeg are accepted):

Please make sure the file extension (.jpg .png .gif) is not in CAPITAL letters (just change it to lower case in the link). In the quotes you insert the URL of the photo. Please make sure you pictures do not exceed 800px in width.

How do you post pictures here. I looked for some guidelines but couldn't find any.

Personally I don't like this idea, as it's not relevant to Nikon stuff.

Yes I know we have that section: but sometimes neat things gets hidden in a none related post or this new Weird thing really does not need a new post, so place it in the New Sticky post

Maybe it could be called: Odd Rumor & Gear-a-day NR edition (month)

You mean like a miscellaneous section or an off-topic section? I think that's pretty much what the Weird & Fun section is all about, No?

You know it was more like a place you post: look at this new Fuji table light Flash or the Fake 18-400 zoom box picture, so they all are easy to go back and look at. Each month a new one is started

I once asked about a links section and what was kinda "agreed" upon was to put links in the NR wiki. But no one ever goes in there :^(

Should we make a(sticky) post that would cover: odd camera gear, pictures of rumored cameras etc. Most the time these odd things, kind of gets posted in the threads but then if you want see them again you are at odds to where did you see it

I am not sure what the (sticky) post should be called, but maybe it should also be a monthly one just like the Photo-a-day
