I'd love to get a kit where you get to remove all the exterior panels of your DSLR and replace it with magnesium weather sealed panels.

You just have to watch some of their TV programs to know why they do it. It's a completely different market (less flashy) in the U.S.

The colours a big deal in Japan, elsewhere, not so much. That said, there is always someone who wants a red or blue camera.

Pentax and Panasonic have pink bodies for sale outside Nrth America, do think Nikon should get more colorful or are the other brands just trying to hard to win new customers over to their brand
