Here's a match up between the 24mp D3X and 21mp 1DsMkIII. Basically the canon wins image quality (but not by much) and the D3X wins for better and faster auto focus and for ergonomics.

Actually in the end they kinda don't like either camera because they don't bring anything new to the table other than big pixels. They say just stick to your current D3 or 1DmkIII gear. They also don't think these cameras give medium format too much to worry about.

Finally,the Magnificent D3 replaced the great camera 1dmk3.....

Job Done For D3....The Err99 Explosion ruined the sky....better for D3 to move away from there....before they got infected with err99 virus...=p

its a super Multicam 3500FX that installed to the D3 body...It can run a 51 focus point with 3d-matrix autofocus....the 1dmk3 cant run anymore....

This is really a nightmare for 1dmk3 because now the D3 is equipped with a great 16Gigabyte CF from Sandisk(made in japan) =p
