All current Nikon instant savings deals are in place through 11/20. An entire new list will start for Thanksgiving week, and run through "Black Friday" weekend - soon to be followed by the new December instant savings.
Sit back & enjoy the ride - great deals to be had on Nikon body & lens bundles!

I think we will have more rumors/news of nov rebates/sales, at least in america, as we get closer to thanksgiving. My local camera shop told me their Nikon reps are going to have a long list of stuff just in time for Black friday and cyber monday. Fingers crossed, the guy wasnt just blowing me smoke.

Last rumor on instant rebate is not happy with me. There is no rebate on a pro-lens.
Who will know the next rebate up-front? I would like to get D7000 and 70-200.
Thanks.

I was able to get the rebate on the 70-300 with my D7000 order. I placed the order for the D7000 kit + 70-300 several weeks ago. The lens arrived but the camera still hasn't shipped. I looked at their website Sunday and it showed the rebate so I called and asked about it. They gave me the rebate and and said it would be a couple more weeks before the camera ships. Thom was right.

I'd like to see a rebate similar to one often offered with the D90 (body/18-105/70-300) for the 7000. Or even just a smallish rebate on the 7000 with the 18-105 (or the 70-300). I know that for a lot of you, the kit lens rebate means less than nothing 'cause you've already got an 18-105/18-200, but for those of us for whom this is a first SLR, it'd be a nice thing to have...

On a related note, Best Buy just sent out one of their Reward Zone thingies... for those of you who are members, they're offering double points on DSLR purchases. Oh, and they're advertising the D90 kit at 1200 as though this is somehow a good price. :P

hmm, thom had stated that the older rebates would just now include the D7000:

"Nikon November Rebates
Oct 19 (news) updated--
[...]
The 14-24mm, 16-35mm, 18-200mm, 24-70mm, 24-120mm, 28-300mm, 55-200mm, 55-300mm, 70-200mm, 70-300mm, and 85mm f/3.5 Macro will all have instant rebates from US$100 to US$400 when purchased with a D7000 (!), D300s, D700, D3s, or D3x..."

Pity, i would have loved to get a 70-300 with my D7000

I seriously doubt anyone is going to add the 85mm macro to the D7000 kit just to save $100 bucks.

Sadly, these rebates dont effect me much :/. I think it is a wonderful type of rebate system if you plan for FX by going out and buying the holy 2.8 trinity with a D700 or D3s. Id only be interested if it had a D800+14-24 combo

Discuss your opinions on the new Nikon rebates here.

D7000 + 85mm f3.5 macro = $100
D7000 + 85mm f3.5 macro + 18-105mm = $100

So if you were hoping to get the D7000 with the 24-70, too bad, so sad.

You can find the rest of the details over on the main blog
