The price of the new WR-R10/WR-T10 wireless remote controller, in Japan, is less then US$200.
WR-R1 = ¥ 7.350 with tax = US$91,28
WR-T10 = ¥ 5.250 with tax = US$65,20
Total price= ¥ 12.600 with tax = US$156,48
Is it a good news, or not?

A friend's son was getting married last winter and they asked me to shoot the wedding. Other than film, my best digital was my D70 and the groom's brother had a Canon 40D. I picked it up and made a couple test shots and went to work. Throughout the wedding and reception I made several hundred shots and I'm happy to say that the vast majority were very good to excellent. BUT - I bought a new Nikon!

Yes!

The day I bought my D40 was the day before the 2007 NY Auto Show! I had that night to charge the battery and the next morning to figure out all the features before I had to shoot. Which is why I accidentally shot most of my photos at ISO Boost, HI1...

That's never ever going to happen again.

Awesome story, less than awesome photos though.

I always wanted to get a Pentax 645 Medium Format camera, but digital arrived and so far the Pentax 645 Dig has not arrived, I was looking for info about the possibility of a Dig 645 next spring(AGAIN), that made me think about using the Pentax 645

Anyway a few years back I was hired to shot a wedding and in the last moment they wanted some shots in Medium Format. A friend of mine let me use his 645, which is thankfully fairly automatic but even then was I ever nervous about what I was getting into. It turned out great, special the shot of the bride on a Harley. It was actually a great camera to use, just like a large SLR

Have you ever just un-packed your new camera or borrowed a camera to shot something important while trying to look like you know what you are doing

Pete
