Of course, this is the way life works.. I spend several hours in the woods, ready and waiting for an encounter like this. Yesterday morning I was going to work and at the end of my street I looked up to see the 2 eagles flying towards me. I threw a memory card in my cam, jumped out of my truck and stood in the middle of the road to catch this series. I had no time to adjust anything, I would have preferred a faster shutter speed, but 1 second goes by quick! Thanks for all your kind words!

Well my share is a little early. I spend a couple hours in the woods every morning before I have to go to work. This one is least expected when I was driving to work. Here is one from the summer. The trimarans went from Newport to NYC and then across the Atlantic. The boats can adjust the masts for better aerodynamics, that's why the mast is slanted in this pic.

Awesome work as usual. PMBM I've got to try this. Like many of my favorites, this was pure luck. I was focused on getting the ship with the volcanoes in the background. Didn't notice that I'd gotten the dolphin airborne until I uploaded this.
