as for shipments, if You didn't received one now, than don't expect to get anything till 15th of May as the big stores gonna be closed and Nikon fiscal year is ending.

Obviously, the D-800s are on there way, does anybody have any timeline once Nikon returns from this current break what the USA Shipment Schedule looks like. Why is Nikon so tight lipped about timelines of shipment of the D-800 to maket. Are more people buying the D-800 rather than the D-800e. Has the 800es shipped yet? Does anybody know how many 800s are in a shipment to USA?

What is going on with Nikon Lenses, seems most of the lenses are out of stock, any idea when shipments of lenses, specifically the 28-300mm VR and the 105mm Macro will be back in stock, amongst so many other lenses that are not in stock, what is going on with Nikon?

I know abount the Earthquake a year ago, but a corporation like Nikon must have a contingency plan, or a "backup" plan to keep product flow, seems like Canon does not have that problem neither others like Sony.

New to this formum, but just trying to get answers, have read all the posts, but nobody recently has asked about a April or May timeline for shipment.
