Agreed craziness. I think it is because of the limited editions Leica releases with well known luxary designer labels such as Prada etc. Celebrities also purchase Leicas too. I always laugh when I see pictures of some celebrities trying to focus for a shot, but have a puzzled look on their faces because the camera doesn't seem to be working. In the image you can see the lens cap has been left on! haha

Question...why do Lieca's command so hi prices when the results they produce (at least nowadays) are no better than some of the far cheaper mainstream offerings?
