That's interesting, thanks for sharing Funduro. I am also waiting to see what the iPad 2 will have new to benefit photographers. I looked at the 27" iMac, I thought the screen was lovely, but was put off by the well publishised glossy screen reflection issue. You don't find it a problem? Instead of the iMac I ended up just buying a new Dell 27" screen. I don't have any reflection problems, but nor do I have the image clarity that so wowed me when I first saw the apple screen.

I also have a 27", and while it is pretty shiny I don't find it a big a deal when editing pics. I'm not really tempted to look at matte screens.

Well, don't forget that you have to calibrate it, as you would with any display. I'd be interested to see the article to see what they have to say specifically.

Just a FYI. I read an article on a dependable Apple blog site, that the color gamut is off by 20% or so. Will try to find a link later. Two reasons for posting this is that if you have one or thinking of buying it beware of it's picture displaying flaw. I was considering buying it, this was terrible news that has made me have second thoughts. I wasn't going to use it for PP but more for displaying larger images while away. Will now wait for the iPad 2 to release and decide. I use a 27' iMac as my PP screen.

I'd rather Nikon build it right from the start!

Alright Apple has their extended service called "Apple Care" and it is actual overall well liked. I have used it a few times, many of my customers have and they have been very helpful

Should Nikon make a "Nikon Care" product. It would offer extended warranty, free shipping, free product support. Maybe even offer a "Pro Care" plan with extra help incl faster repair, loaner etc

What do you think

Seba I don't see any color profile associated with your photos but I'm not sure if that's picassa just not including the info. Normally you want to save your pictures with an sRGB colorspace. This could explain why they look more or less colorful in different applications. Some sites are just not color aware. Are you using Safari?

Your photos don't look that dull to me.
