			<description><p>The camera industry is based in Japan so they really don't need a trade show to make major announcements there. Not saying it can't happen but if they were to announce something at CP+ the press invitations would have already been sent like they were with Focus On Imaging.

			<description><p>Yes, but this new show is now the biggest photo show in Japan as it take the place of Photo Imaging Expo and is under the direction of CIPA.  Canon will be there instead of the PMA and all major japanese compagnies will be there too.

			<description><p>Announcements tend to happen at "bigger" shows. Invitations for a March 8th "press event" point directly at England's Focus On Imaging show and not at CP+. Focus On Imaging is "Europe's biggest annual imaging show".
