			<description><p>I cant see that its going to be a huge increase in performance. Although its pretty obvious to me that there will be an improvement due to the efficiency gained from not having corners(ie the corners of a square sensor are likely to be not used very much due to the micro lens focusing the light towards the centre of the sensor) still an improvement of say 10-15% in MP would be nice.

<p>It looks as though it would be possible to place more photodiodes onto a sensor of a given size even while maintaining the effective size (diameter) of the photodiode.</p>
<p>How much could a D3S sensor's resolution be increased in this way without impairing performance?
