New Nikon f/2.8 DX lens spotted in San Francisco? (spy shot)

Take a look at this picture on flickr (full size). It looks like a DX f/2.8 lens and it is different than the existing 17-55 f/2.8 DX lens. Any guesses? See full discussion on flickr. The picture was taken at a big outdoor event in San Francisco.

New Nikon rebates program starting in 3 days (US only)

Update: the rebate program will end on March 27th, 2010. The Nikon 70-300mm lens is also included with a $200.00 instant rebate.

Updated list of expected Nikon lenses in 2010

An update on my previous post on the expected Nikon lenses in 2010 – if my sources are correct we should see 6 more new lenses in 2010 (total of 8):

Nikkor 16-35mm f/4 – already released, in stock almost everywhere.

Nikkor 24mm f/1.4 – already released, will ship next month (March, 2010).

Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical with Nikon mount

The full frame Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical lens (Nikon and other mounts available) was first announced in Europe last year, but then it was delayed and is now available for pre-order on eBay (ships in April, 2010):

Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35-70mm f/4G ED N lens?

New Sigma lenses coming soon

Just a quick update from PhotoRumors.com: five new lenses from Sigma will be announced soon (including a new 85mm f/1.4 lens). Not sure about the details yet, but I expect all of those to be available for F-mount.
