  • All those goodies behind glass (KeyMission, DL cameras)… and no new information about them 🙁 Come on Nikon, release!

  • sickheadache

Matt Granger and others have said it was PACKED! at the Nikon Booth. Like a Japanese Subway. lol

    • Shutterbug

They are absolutely killing it this year, it’s not surprising. Reminds me of 2007.

  • I wish Nikon released a cheaper D5 aka full-frame D500.

    • Mike Gordon

Keep dreaming, Nikon made that mistake once already with the D700.

      • Duncan Dimanche

I don’t think that it was a mistake… They sold tons of d700

Any sale to Nikon is a good sale. The cheaper alternative to the D3 at the time would have been the 5D I and II. They weren’t concerned with D3 canibaliziation, they instead made a 5D competitor.

      And a cheaper version, D5555. 😉

  • Max

May we have a moment of silence for every Nikon flagship body that’s been sliced in half..

    • TO-DOUG

Isn’t that how they make a crop sensor camera?

    • TheInfinityPoint

One can only hope they were already “beyond economical repair” lol.

  • Shutterbug

Would be interesting to know whether there were any Nikon 1 cameras on display?

  • John Smith

    D500 sample iso pics?

  • Jean Fotomode

For the D500 at Adorama, it report that the manufacturer will start shipping by the April, 29th 2016.

  • ZoetMB

What camera (or camera phone) took those booth photos? They’re really terrible.

    • Those are from the official Nikon at CP+ Facebook page, so I assume they were taken by Nikon Japan marketing.

      • bjrichus

Taken by Nikon Marketing themselves? That explains something at least… Blown highlights and lack of shadow detail. Yup. Nikon Marketing. 😉

  • Mike Gordon

More from grumpy? Sorry no thx…
