I received several confirmation on the special Nikon D810 version designed for astrophotography. The official announcement will be early next week, right before the start of the CP+ show in Japan. One of the differences from the regular D810 model will be a 5 stops longer max shutter speed. I am still not sure about the exact naming, but it will probably be D810 following by a letter (maybe D810a for astrophotography?).
