Really poor vignetting control… tsk! tsk!

Thats par for the course for a circular fisheye. To get the black circle effect it is always necessary to do post editing.

I have a few fisheyes, including a Nikon f/8 invasive lens that can’t mount on cameras after the F2. This looks rather better than the early lenses but not what I would want from a 2014 lens. Ghosting is a real pain with any lens that has a 180 degree field of view.

Hopefully this will sell well enough to encourage Nikon to launch that rumored fisheye zoom which is circular on one end.

Then they can take “circular fisheye” out of the description once that’s controlled. :)

Fisheyes were really cool circa 2006.
