Best camera in the market for $600 range, If there wasnt those gaps in the DX lens lineup

    • Spy Black

The D5300 is worth it for the articulating screen alone.

      • Eric Calabros

Exactly what I though, but I didnt use it in %99 of the time

        • Spy Black

When you’re shooting over a crowd or have a low angle shot, especially on a tripod, you’ll be happy you have it.

D5300 Multicam 4800 struggel to focus in low light, faces never sharp, has this changed since D5200 ?
    D3300 always gets focus.

D5300 has a built in GPS – fine, but, it does have a track log function, which might be useful, except that instead of saving the log in a useful .gpx file, Nikon have chosen to use a format of their own, which ViewNX pulls Google mapping in to display! Insane!

Hi everyone!!!! I have just bought a Nikon D5300 with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II kit lens and a 55-200mm VR telephoto lens as well. What other lenses should I still need to buy for beginner like me?
