Offline for few days

nikonrumors europe Offline for few days

For the next two months, [NR] headquarter will be temporary moved to an undisclosed location in Europe and will operate on European time. In the next few days I will have limited Internet connectivity and will probably be offline. In the mean time, feel free to use the [NR] forum.

For those of you who are new to [NR] and are eager to know what's next for Nikon, I have to remind you that the rumor mill always comes to a halt after an official announcement. I will continue to publish only information I feel comfortable with, instead of filing the site with wild guesses and worthless speculations. I can publish rumors like this all day long, but if you want serious and reliable stuff, sit tight and enjoy the ride. I will continue to post other interesting Nikon related topics and guest posts until I start receiving some good "intelligence" again. I expect things to pick up again at the end of June.

Thanks for being a reader.

Thank you very very much for your publishing and networking work and for excersising your discretion wisely.

I like NR as it is with (substantiated) Rumors, Nikon news and Nikon Trivia, for it works in the just right mix.

Perhaps you will see Dick Chaney at the undisclosed location. If you have any choice, you should go to Sorrento, Italy. The place is full of beautiful scenery and beautiful women. For the true intensity of a city with non stop street photography opportunities go to Madrid. (I have only been home from there for a week.)

I am not one to bash peoples photography but you are simply a pervert with a camera and this is not one of those instances where “I just don’t understand art” or “real art is controversial, so you must be doing something right”.

Seriously guys, he’s just people watching, and taking pictures of pretty girls. What the hell is wrong with that? The style is just standard candid. I don’t see any bias to see-through clothing, upskirts, or anything of that matter. Women are beautiful, and I’m not sure why you WOULDN’T take pictures of them.

And did you give those people your name and address so they can return the signed model release? In this case they CAN sue you man. If at least those were good pics but they just look like some perv snapshots to be hanged in some cave.

          • Posted June 3, 2011 at 12:33 am | Permalink

While I don’t care for the photography, at least in the US this use does not require a model release.

The only places that I know of where the subject must give permission for non commercial publication are France, Norway and the Provence of Quebec in Canada. There is some question about Germany.
