Nikon NPS in the Czech Republic has an interesting and detailed list of photo equipment that can be registered with NPS (Nikon Professional Services). More interesting is the date listed next to each product, after which the product can no longer be registered with NPS. The speculation is that with a little bit of imagination, you could use this list to get an idea of what will be replaced when. Some products are already close to their "end-of-NPS-life-status": AF-S DX 12-24/4G, AF 14 f/2.8D, TC-14E II. Here is the full list:

Some (anecdotal) clarification:
Based on talks I’ve had with different folks at NPS, I think this list has more to do with what will qualify for Priority (overnight) Repair.
While a 80-200MM F/2.8D ED-IF is definitely a pro lens, its a little older and they may not be producing as many repair parts for it. They CAN still repair it, but they may not have the parts ready for an overnight repair. Hence not on the list.
You CAN sign up at the NPS site with pro equipment not in the pre-populated list, its just a little tricky to figure out…
This list has NOTHING to do with release dates for future products.
Thanks Bob, that makes a lot more sense than “you can’t register this at all”, especially given some of the listed dates.
The 20 2.8 is no over due but no direct replacement has been named. Not sure what to conclude there, as a few of the zooms more than replace it.
The 50 1.2 is no where on this list at all. That thing is more than ready to get replaced.
if you need any translation czech to english let me know
thanks!
It looks like 10 years for most lens from the production date. Example 70-200mm VRII is at 2020 which released at 2010.
I MISS A NEW 85mm f/1,8 – COME ON!
