   P300 looks like a winner… good job Nikon… still, others would want RAW (does it have that?)….

     I have stopped using raw on both my LX3 & P7000.. the processing is just too cumbersome (and tiresome). The jpgs are good enough.

   Crap! No RAW? Dammit, Nikon! Now we see why the price is so competitive. You cheaped out the sensor and crippled the cam with no RAW! Ack! 1080p, a great LCD and a cute little camera—but you effed it up! Still no competitor to the S95 and Lx3. Whimps! Crap sandwich.

   The P500 is interesting because of the 810mm equivalent lens (although at f5.7), but other than that, I think this is the most boring lineup yet.

   the coolpix P500 can record 240 FPS movies, so super slomo!
   too bad its only 320×240 making it allmost useless!
