It seems most people are unimpressed by this latest offering by Nikon. I agree in a sense that if you try pack too many things into a device you loose out on the quality of the features. In my opinion why have a projector on a camera if it is not to the quality you would expect to project your images?

Anyone wanting to project their images from a camera would benefit using a mini LED projector [see Adapt 305 / Adapt 450 Pro] which can connect via (mini) SD Card.

They are not as expensive as ‘traditional projectors’.

I too would like to see a Nikon G11 competitor have a 24/24mm to at least 200mm lens with f/2. Having the card slot at the side and not with the battery would be nice.

I’d buy the replacement if it had low MP and noise (at least a low as the G11), if it will sync with external flashes at at least 1/1000 and have an f/2 or faster lens.

I’m really not asking for much. More like a Canon S90 with a hotshoe.
I’d also like it to start the zoom at 24mm.

I am seriously considering switching to Canon and get their full frame. Nice to see Nikon are wasting their time working on “projectors”…WTF!!!

I don’t think that this is insignificant. Honestly, it is not longer a camera with a projector, it is a projector that has a camera. Being able to hook up all kinds of devices will turn out to make this a pretty popular product (for families and businesses).
