Nikon Rumors giveaway #8

Update: the giveaway is now closed. The winners will be picked on the forum and I will announce them later on the blog.

In this giveaway you can win a Nikon D700 or a Nikon D3s/D3x book by David Busch (bibliography). The rules are again simple – just leave a comment to this blog post indicating which book are you interested in. One entry per person, one book selection per person (if you have both cameras, I assume you don't need a book). I will close all comments next week and one of the NR forum moderators will randomly pick the winners. I still don’t believe in “US only” giveaways and will ship this book anywhere in the world. Make sure you enter a valid email address.

Fine print: The contest is void where prohibited by law. All taxes are the responsibility of the winner. NikonRumors.com is not responsible for anything.

    The D3s is the camera I hope to buy later this year so I would find the book extremely useful and interesting.

    Let’s start with the important things: a big, bigger, monstuous :) THANK YOU for mentioning the quagmire with the “US only” contests. That’s way past starting to get on a lot of peoples nerves, and I must applaud your thinking!
    Besides that… I do *not* want any of the two books, even if they seem to be spectacularly different from the too-stuffed (but still incomplete) manual from the manufacturer. I have another (multiple hundred pages) book on one of the two cameras, and I couldn’t get myself thru all of it; heck, I only skimmed the manual, and that only to make sure if I’m not missing something.
    For what it’s worth, I’d like to recommend all of the non-winners to buy the desired book; it’s very enlightening to read something else than the official documentation. Mr. David Busch seems to do a very thorough job of highlighting what can one actually do with the equipment, and any reader can pick up a few tricks from those tips.
