Nikon D3s: 14fps and HD Video

D3s Nikon D3s rumors are spreading like wild fire. Another website (Cameratalk from Australia) writes about “insider information from a software developer at a research facility connected with Nikon” and that the new Nikon D3s will have 14fps and full 1080p HD video. Expected in stores on November 3rd, 2009.

Unconfirmed rumor: Nikon D3s in October

I received some reports that Nikon D3s model may be released in the first or second week of October. I still need another confirmation to feel comfortable with that rumor.

Nikon to announce APS-C sized sensor compact camera similar to Leica X1?

Update: Nikon Singapore response: “based on the current outlook, we do not foresee a similar product range as the Leica X1.” I did not expect a different answer, did you? First Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II lenses started to show up in the US

A dpreview comment indicates that the new Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VR II lens already started to show up in stores (in that case in WA state). Also confirmed: Nikon D300 is listed as “discontinued” in B&H. Update: some sample shots and a review available here and another one here.
