Nikon reports their quarterly result on August 5th. Tamron 60mm f2 Di II lens delayed for Nikon: here is the full story. Adorama takes pre-orders. Got report from some Ritz stores that they are getting back their Nikon stock of lenses and cameras, just as expected. Amazon started to send confirmations for the D300s pre-orders. [...]

Nikon continues to push DX lenses? ( new Nikkor 85mm VR DX patent)

Very busy week – those rumors just won’t stop (check the latest Leica and Sony rumors). Back to Nikon: there is a new Nikon patent for what it appears to be a 85mm VR DX lens. This patent is not yet listed on Google Patents, but can be found here. “Nikon will reveal something groundbreaking next week”

Thomas Lorenzen and Svend Erik Nørklit from Nikon Denmark held a press conference on Thursday in Copenhagen for the Nikon D300s, D3000 and the two new lenses.
