Thats why increasing the pixel count is getting harder and harder while maintaining quality. They need to get some fresh tech out there to get people switching. If they squeeze in more pixels then the awesome iso handling will suffer. I guess thats why the D400 is taking so long to appear. They simply lack the appropriate tech to do it right now.
