Two official press releases from Nikon:

  • Nikon at the 2008 PhotoPlus Expo (source) - if you are attending, ask questions and if you get some hints contact [NR]:

Attendees may visit Nikon at Booth 501 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from Thursday, Oct. 23 through Saturday, Oct. 25 to experience the newest imaging products and help Nikon celebrate the 75th Anniversary of world-class NIKKOR optics.

  • Nikon D series DSLR receives J.D. Power and Associates award two years in a row for customer satisfaction (source).

    nothing exciting, just letting people to play with nikon’s latest products ((D700 and D90)) and the new 50mm ƒ/1.4G AFS prime.

    $20 says they won’t announce anything :)

    Unlike Mr. Negative above me, I say thanks to the Admin for reporting this. Because before this was posted, I didn’t realize the PhotoPlus Expo was going on the weekend of October 24th. Now I do and I’m rather interested in going simply to check out the Nikon booth and others for that matter, regardless of whether or not there’s rumored new prototypes there. I just like photo gear and lots of it! It’s just helpful information to know. So thanks for filling us in Admin.
