Amazon US has the D90 body?

Nikon D90 body only is already available in Europe and Australia. Yesterday it start showing up in Amazon US. My guess is that those bodies taken from disassembled lens kits. Some of them are listed as used for $999.95 and the new one is listed for $1198.95. Note that those are sold by third parties and not from Amazon direct.

    Funny, the D90 has been in stock at my local store, Tempe Camera for over tow weeks now.

    I ordered one on Friday. Linked from this cool site. It is a kit box minus the lens. Couldn’t wait any longer for just the body. It shipped yesterday. Can’t wait!

    Already avaliable in the uk. Saw one in jessops at the weekend.

    Still want my D300 & D700 though.

    Got an email from Amazon this morning saying that the body-only D90 is now available (I had previously signed up to receive an email when the body-only was available). But it’s still the overpriced lens-stripped kit version from “BuyAccessories”

    I had signed up for the email notification on Amazon as well before they took it down and have not received anything at all. I don’t understand what the big deal is with Nikon holding off on releasing the D90 body-only. Its getting on my nerves.

    Amazon is allowing you to order the D90 body only from them. Price is $999.99 and availability is listed as 1-2 months.
