New viewfinders, lenses, camera body (or bodies), developing a new lens mount...the list goes on. I'm not old enough to remember when the Nikon F came out, but I have a feeling that if the internet existed back then *someone* would have leaked it out, and given the nature of our hobby, leaked it with photos. I’m not saying that it’s NOT a new camera system, but consider how large an undertaking this would be for Nikon. Today you have to switch lenses from 24-70 to 70-200 to cover 24(or 28) to 105(or 120)…

For several photographers that means more weight to carry, much more money to invest on such high expensive 2 pro zooms, more missed pictures, more dust in the sensor, more risks of damage when changing lenses in the middle of action, etc…
