I thought ebay is an auction site - what does "pre-sale" mean? For a specific person? I will file this under Humor-Rumor.

    pre-sale is just that…a pre-sale. the seller doesn’t have the item in their possession yet. the buyer is betting that the seller can get the d700 before they can locally. Risky business if you ask me, since the seller gets your money for 30 days. Pre-sales were very common on the xbox 360 when it first hit shelves. Not a rumor, humor only in that if the seller takes the $ and runs.
