That doesn't make any sense. The D300 just came out and they have no reason to compete with the D3. In fact, why would anyone buy a D3 is there's a smaller, lighter, cheaper version, with exactly the same resolution? Besides, when have they ever jumped names--from a D300 to a D700? If it happens...great, I'll be first in line, but I think that's just silly. Nikon won’t announce a “D700″. That doesn’t make any sense. The D300 just came out and they have no reason to compete with the D3. In fact, why would anyone buy a D3 is there’s a smaller, lighter, cheaper version, with exactly the same resolution?
