7 Million Dollar Home

Slow day for rumors today, so I will talk about the 7 Million Dollar Home. No, not bad real estate news again. I am talking about a photo bag:
(check the 5 stars customer review)
My last post about the ThinkTank Urban Disguise 40 photo bag triggered some questions/comments, so I will allow myself to create another post on this topic.
The Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home Photo Bag is similar to the ThinkTank Urban Disguise 40 in the sense that it is a "disguise" bag - no one will know you are caring few thousands dollars of photo equipment inside. The Crumpler Photo Bag is bigger, cheaper, lighter and shall I say more "fashionable" than the ThinkTank.
I do not have one, so I cannot comment first hand, but it looks really good online.
P.S.
For some reason Amazon does not have the ThinkTank Urban Disguise 40 any longer (sold out? - then it must be really good).
Adorama still has it (free shipping).

I might use that type of bag on vacation so I’m not a target.. I’ve learned to leave the white lenses at home from someone else’s bad luck. For work I usually wear lens carriers, can’t stand lugging a bag around.

    Nice bag.

I have this kind of bag (i think it’s a pretty boy XXXL). It’s a nice bag but it’s not made for walking around all day if you have heavy stuff in it as the only shoulder you use for carrying the bag will hurt like hell.

I love the Crumpler Bags. My 7 Million Dollar holds 3 zooms (10-20, 17-35, 28-70), a fisheye (8mm), D300 w/MB-D10 attached and a Nodal Ninja 5L pano head plus small accessories like remotes, etc. The only thing I don’t care for is the pad used for the shoulder strap. I find the material easily slips off my shoulder. I replaced the pad with the Domke Postal shoulder pad and it works like a charm.

That’s true – the ThinkTank model offers a Shoulder harness attachment and you can wear it as a backpack.

How do they come out with those names - 7 Million Dollar, Postal shoulder…
