What is up with Nikon HB-33 lens hood

What it up with the Nikon lens hood HB-33? I cannot buy it anywhere... except on ebay... from China... It is for the 18-55 mm lens that comes with the D40, so one would think that since this is a popular lens it should not be a problem finding it. Am I missing something here?

    I got it now:

    HB-45 is the lens hood for AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR
    HB-33 is the lens hood for AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II
    I wonder if there is any difference besides the model number.

    It has been replaced by the
    HB-45. The HB-45 will fit the 18-55 kit lens for the D40.
